AI SEO Research and Content Brief Agent Development

Briefs writers can work from

An agent that prepares the research behind a page.

How it is builtCustom development around your own systems, with a named person behind every decision the agent does not take.

An agent that prepares the research behind a page. It reads the keyword and search-result data you are entitled to use, studies what already ranks and what your site already covers, and drafts a brief that says what to write, for whom, and on what evidence.

A content brief is often a keyword and a word count. The writer guesses the intent, repeats what the top results say and publishes a page the site already had under another title. Good briefs take a strategist half a day each: reading the results, checking the site for overlap, deciding the angle. So they are written for the few pages that seem important, and the rest are improvised.

This page describes a workflow we propose to build as a custom project. It does not exist as software yet. It would reuse the sourced research and the claim checks from our demonstrations, where a statement without evidence cannot pass. Access to search data, result analysis and the brief format are not built.

How One Request Moves Through

An example of one case, in 6 steps. The same steps play in the picture at the top of this page.

01 / 06

Topic requested

Your editor asks for a brief on a service your site does not yet explain.

02 / 06

Data gathered

Search Console shows related queries. For volumes, the field stays empty, because no licensed source is connected.

03 / 06

Results studied

The ranking pages are mostly comparison articles, which points to a buying intent.

04 / 06

Overlap checked

An older blog post partly covers the topic and is proposed as the page to expand.

05 / 06

Brief drafted

The brief sets the angle, the outline, the evidence needed and the internal links.

06 / 06

Reviewed

Your strategist changes the angle, approves the brief and assigns it.

03Before

How the Work Is Done Today

A keyword and a word count

The brief gives the writer nothing to decide with.

Invented volumes

A search volume appears in the brief with no source.

Pages that compete with each other

The new article targets a term an existing page already owns.

Copying the top results

The page says what ten others say and adds nothing.

Intent misread

A buying query is answered with a definition.

Briefs nobody checks

The writer follows a wrong brief faithfully.

04SEO brief agent

Six jobs it carries through

01Permitted data

Uses only search data you may use.

  • Your Search Console and keyword tools
  • Licensed providers you name
  • Result pages read through permitted means
  • Empty fields where no data exists

02Intent reading

Works out what the searcher wants.

  • What kinds of page rank
  • Questions people ask around the term
  • Whether the query is to learn or to buy
  • Where intent is mixed

03Site overlap check

Checks what you already have.

  • Existing pages on the topic
  • Which page should own the term
  • Pages that would compete
  • Internal links worth adding

04Angle and gap

Finds what is worth adding.

  • What ranking pages cover
  • What they miss or get wrong
  • What your business can say first-hand
  • Evidence you would need

05Brief drafting

Writes the brief.

  • Audience, intent and angle
  • Outline with the points to cover
  • Sources and evidence to use
  • Title, description and internal links

06Editorial review

Puts the brief in front of a person.

  • A review queue for your strategist
  • Notes on uncertainty
  • The data behind each recommendation
  • Approved briefs passed to writers

What We Need to Scope This

  1. The process as it runs today, in a few lines.
  2. The systems it touches, for example search data, search results, your site, brief template.
  3. Rough monthly volume, and who approves what.
Request a quoteBook a 30-minute callA quote starts from a written scope, so that the figure means something.
05Operating boundaries

Evidence in the Brief, or an Empty Field

Search numbers are easy to make up and hard to notice. The agent records the source of every figure and leaves the field empty when it has none. Its reading of intent is shown with the results it is based on, so your strategist can disagree.

It reads result pages only through means the search engine permits. It writes briefs, not articles, and nothing it produces is published without your editors.

  • Every figure with its source
  • Empty fields instead of estimates
  • One owner page per term
  • Intent shown with its evidence
  • No unsupported claims suggested
  • Briefs reviewed before writing
06Systems

Where It Connects

The systems named here are the kind this agent works with. Which ones it connects to in your case is settled in the scope.

01

Search data

  • Google Search Console
  • keyword tools you license
02

Search results

  • Read through permitted providers
03

Your site

  • Sitemap, existing pages and internal links
04

Brief template

  • Your editorial format
05

Evidence

  • Your own data, customers' questions and product facts
06

Review

  • The strategist or editor who approves briefs
07Questions

Asked Before the First Call

Does it write the articles?

No. It prepares the brief: audience, intent, angle, outline and evidence. Writing stays with your writers, or with a separate drafting step under your editorial review. Keeping research and writing apart makes both easier to check.

How is this different from the website SEO monitoring agent?

Monitoring watches pages that exist: broken links, lost titles, changed templates. This agent works before a page exists and decides what should be written. One protects what you have, the other plans what comes next.

What if we have no keyword tool?

Then volumes stay empty and the brief says so. Search Console, the result pages and your own customers' questions still support a sound brief. We would not fill the gap with estimates.

What exists today?

Not as software yet. This page describes a proposed workflow. It would reuse the sourced research and the claim checks from our demonstrations, where a statement without evidence cannot pass. Access to search data, result analysis and the brief format are not built. A project starts by mapping your process, then proving the first steps on test data before anything touches a live system.
