LEDGERS,PAYMENTSAND TRUST
We build payment, lending and wealth platforms for fintech startups and financial firms, with ledgers that balance, audit trails that hold up and architecture designed to support your regulatory obligations.
In financial software every cent must be traceable, so we model money as an immutable ledger before we design a single screen.
Financial products built on a correct ledger
- 01Payment flows
- 02Double-entry ledgers
- 03KYC and onboarding
Fintech development covers products that move, hold or report on money, such as payment platforms, lending systems, wallets, investment tools and the dashboards around them. It is the right choice when you are building on banking-as-a-service, card or payment providers and need engineers who understand settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks and what regulators and partner banks will ask to see.
We treat correctness as the first feature. Balances come from a double-entry ledger, every money movement is idempotent, and daily reconciliation compares our records with the provider's. Card data is tokenized by the payment provider to keep your PCI DSS scope small. We design systems to support your compliance requirements, and the licenses, audits and attestations remain with you and your partners. Related work: CashFish, a live finance and CRM SaaS, where we audited row-level security and billing logic before launch (see the case study).

What It Looks Like When It Ships
From Kickoff to Launch
We draw every movement of funds between customers, your accounts, providers and banks, including fees, reversals and failures. That diagram defines the ledger accounts and shows which regulations and partner rules apply.
Architecture, data classification, access roles and the split of responsibilities with each provider are documented and reviewed with your compliance lead, so requirements shape the build instead of interrupting it.
Features are developed against provider sandboxes with the ledger and reconciliation in place from the first transaction. Tests cover duplicates, partial failures, timeouts and out-of-order webhooks as well as the happy path.
We run a security review and support any third-party penetration test you commission, then launch with limits on volume. Limits rise as reconciliation stays clean and monitoring shows the system behaving.

What buyers ask before they start
If yours is not here, ask us directly. The first conversation is free and useful whether or not we work together.
Book a callWe keep card numbers out of your systems. Hosted fields and tokenization from a provider such as Stripe or Adyen mean raw card data goes directly to them, which keeps your PCI DSS scope to the smallest self-assessment in most cases. Where your model requires handling card data, we design network isolation, encryption and logging to support that assessment. The assessment itself is carried out by you and your assessor.
A stored balance tells you what the number is, and a ledger tells you why. With double-entry records, every balance is the sum of immutable entries, so disputes, audits and bug investigations can be answered from the data. It also prevents money appearing or vanishing, because each entry must balance. Retrofitting a ledger after launch is painful, which is why we put it in place before the first transaction.
We work with the provider that fits your model, your market and any banking relationships you already have. Common options include Stripe and Adyen for payments, Plaid for account data, card issuing platforms such as Marqeta, and identity vendors for KYC. Each is wrapped behind an internal interface, so pricing changes, outages or a move to another provider do not force a rewrite of your product.
No, and it is better to be clear about that. Licenses, sponsor bank agreements and legal advice belong with you, your counsel and your partners. Our part is to build software that makes those obligations workable, with KYC flows, transaction monitoring hooks, audit logs, data retention rules and reports in the format your partners request. We are glad to join calls with your bank or compliance advisor to answer technical questions.
Every request that moves money carries an idempotency key, so a retry after a timeout returns the original result and never creates a second charge. State changes and outgoing messages are committed together, webhooks are verified and processed once, and long flows run in a workflow engine that resumes after a crash. A scheduled reconciliation then compares our ledger with provider records and flags any difference for review.
