Healthcare Software Development Services
Software for care,built with care
We build patient portals, telehealth platforms and clinical tools for digital health companies and care providers, with protected health information handled carefully and architecture designed to support your HIPAA requirements.
Clinicians have no time for software that slows them down, so we design around the clinical workflow before we touch the data model.
Health software built around care and privacy
- 01Patient portals
- 02Telehealth platforms
- 03FHIR integrations
Healthcare software development covers products that touch patient care or health data, including patient portals, telehealth, scheduling, care coordination, remote monitoring and integrations with electronic health records. It is the right choice when your product stores protected health information, has to exchange data with systems such as Epic or Oracle Health, or will be used by clinicians during their working day.
We begin with the data, asking what is collected, who may see it and where it travels. Health information is encrypted, access is role-based and logged, and it runs only on cloud services covered by a business associate agreement you hold. We design systems to support your HIPAA and GDPR requirements, while compliance itself remains your organization's responsibility. Interfaces are tested with real clinicians and patients.

What It Looks Like When It Ships
From Kickoff to Launch
We talk to the clinicians, staff and patients who will use the product and map how work happens today. We also list every item of health data involved and where it moves.
Hosting, encryption, access roles, audit logging and vendor agreements are decided up front with your privacy or compliance officer. Integration routes into each EHR are confirmed, since vendor approval can take time.
We develop against EHR sandboxes using synthetic patient data, never real records. Clinicians review working software at each stage, and we test accessibility and failure cases such as a dropped video call.
The product goes live with one clinic or team first. We watch usage, fix what slows people down and confirm integrations in production before rolling out to more sites.

What buyers ask before they start
If yours is not here, ask us directly. The first conversation is free and useful whether or not we work together.
Book a callHIPAA applies to your organization and how it operates, so no codebase is compliant on its own. What we do is design the technical safeguards the Security Rule expects, including encryption, unique user access, automatic logoff, audit logs and backups, on cloud services that will sign a business associate agreement. We document these controls for your risk assessment. Policies, training and the assessment itself stay with you.
Yes, through the routes those vendors provide. Most modern integration uses FHIR APIs and SMART on FHIR, and older interfaces use HL7 v2 messages. Each vendor has its own registration, review and sandbox process, and each hospital must approve the connection, which affects the schedule more than the code does. For products that need many EHRs, an integration platform such as Redox can reduce the work.
Data is hosted in cloud accounts that you own, in the region your regulations require, using only services your provider covers under its business associate agreement. Access follows the minimum necessary principle. Each role sees only what its job needs, every read of a record is logged, and our engineers work with synthetic data. Production access for support is time-limited, approved by you and recorded.
That depends on what the software claims to do, and the determination is a regulatory question for you and a qualified advisor, not for an engineering studio. Tools for scheduling, communication and record access generally sit outside device rules, while software that diagnoses or drives treatment decisions may fall inside them. If yours might, tell us early, because it changes how requirements, testing and change records need to be kept.
By testing with them. Clinicians work under time pressure, so we count clicks, reduce typing and keep the common path short. Patients vary widely in age, ability and comfort with technology, so we write in plain language, support screen readers and large text, and design to WCAG criteria for contrast and keyboard use. We run usability sessions on prototypes before building and again on working software.
