API Development & Backend Services
APIS YOURPARTNERSCAN BUILDON
We design and build REST and GraphQL APIs for web apps, mobile apps and partner integrations, with a documented contract, versioning and authentication your consumers can rely on from the first request.
We write the contract before the code, so every endpoint is defined, documented and testable long before a consumer depends on it.
APIs designed as products with real consumers
- 01REST and GraphQL
- 02OpenAPI documentation
- 03Webhooks and SDKs
This service covers the interface your product exposes to the world, meaning REST and GraphQL endpoints, webhooks, real-time channels and the authentication, rate limiting and documentation around them. It is the right choice when several consumers depend on one backend, such as a web app, a mobile app and partner systems, and each needs a stable, predictable contract.
We start from the consumers rather than the database. Resources, error formats, pagination and versioning rules are defined in an OpenAPI or GraphQL schema first, then implemented against it with contract tests that fail the build when behavior drifts. The result is an API that other teams can integrate with from the documentation alone, without reading your source code.

What It Looks Like When It Ships
From Kickoff to Launch
We list every app, partner and internal system that will call the API, the data each one needs and the limits it works under, then set scope and priorities from that list.
Endpoints, schemas, error codes and authentication flows are written as a specification and reviewed with your team. Front-end and mobile developers can build against a mock server while implementation begins.
We implement in small, reviewed increments. Contract tests, integration tests and load tests run in the pipeline, and each endpoint ships with its documentation and example requests already written.
The API goes live behind a gateway with rate limits, structured logs, tracing and alerts. We watch real traffic with you, tune slow queries and hand over runbooks for common incidents.
Built for Teams Like Yours
What buyers ask before they start
If yours is not here, ask us directly. The first conversation is free and useful whether or not we work together.
Book a callIt depends on who consumes it. REST suits public and partner APIs, because it is simple to cache, document and secure, and almost every tool speaks it. GraphQL suits products where many screens need different combinations of the same data and the front-end team wants to move without waiting for new endpoints. We often recommend REST for external consumers and GraphQL for your own apps.
API development focuses on the interface, meaning the contract, documentation, authentication and developer experience for whoever calls your system. Backend systems engineering focuses on what sits behind it, such as data models, queues, background processing and scaling under load. Many projects need both. If your main problem is that integrations are slow or fragile, start here. If it is throughput or data consistency, start with backend systems.
Yes. We begin with an audit of the existing endpoints, their consumers and the traffic each one receives. From there we either add to the current API following its conventions, or introduce a new version alongside it and migrate consumers one at a time. Old endpoints stay in place until nothing calls them, so apps already installed on phones keep working throughout.
Every request is authenticated and then authorized against the specific resource it asks for, which closes the most common class of API flaw. Input is validated against the schema, rate limits apply per key, and secrets live in a managed vault rather than in code. We add audit logging for sensitive actions and run automated security scans in the pipeline before each release.
Everything. You receive the complete source code, the OpenAPI or GraphQL schema, the test suite, infrastructure configuration and written documentation, along with access to all repositories and environments. The code lives in your accounts from the start, so there is no transfer step at the end. We also hand over runbooks so your own engineers can deploy, monitor and extend the API without us.
