ONECODE/BASE
TWOAPP/STORES
React Native Development Services
We build iOS and Android apps from one React Native and TypeScript codebase for teams that need both platforms at once and want a single product team maintaining them.
We share everything that should be shared and write native code where the platform demands it, without pretending the two never differ.
One team shipping to both app stores
- 01One shared codebase
- 02Expo build pipeline
- 03Over-the-air updates
React Native development covers apps for iPhone and Android built from a single TypeScript codebase that renders real native components. It is the right choice when you need both platforms from the first release, when the app is mostly screens, forms, lists and media, or when you already have a React web product and engineers who know it.
We build on Expo and the New Architecture, with strict TypeScript and a shared design system so both platforms stay consistent while respecting their own conventions. Where a feature needs platform code, we write a native module in Swift or Kotlin. If your product is dominated by heavy graphics, complex background work or deep hardware integration, we will recommend fully native development instead.

Details Users Can Feel
The same feature running on an iPhone and an Android phone.
Navigation, pickers and haptics that follow each system's own patterns.
A fix published to installed apps without a new store submission.
Validation and API code imported from the same package as the web app.
From Kickoff to Launch
We review your feature list against what React Native handles well and flag anything needing native code. If the product is a poor match, we say so before any work is scoped.
Navigation, state, API layer, design tokens and the build pipeline are set up first, so the earliest screens already ship as installable builds on both iPhone and Android.
Every feature is developed and reviewed on both platforms in the same pull request. That stops one platform falling behind and surfaces layout or behavior differences while they are cheap to fix.
We submit to the App Store and Google Play, then set up update channels so later JavaScript changes reach users quickly. Changes to native code still go through a normal store release.

What buyers ask before they start
If yours is not here, ask us directly. The first conversation is free and useful whether or not we work together.
Book a callFor most apps, yes. React Native renders native views, and with the New Architecture and the Hermes engine, startup and interaction speed are close to native for typical screens. The cases where it struggles are specific, such as heavy real-time graphics, long lists with complex cells that were never tuned, and intensive on-device processing. We profile on mid-range Android phones during development, since problems show there first.
We recommend Expo for nearly every new project, and so does the React Native team. It no longer limits you to a fixed set of features, because development builds and config plugins let you add any native library or your own modules. You gain managed builds, simpler upgrades and over-the-air updates. A bare setup makes sense mainly when you are adding React Native screens to an existing native app.
The logic shares well, and the interface shares less. Types, validation schemas, API access, state management and business rules can live in one package used by both. Screens are usually written separately, because a good mobile layout is not a narrow web page and navigation works differently. We set up a monorepo so shared code has one home, and we give you a realistic estimate after reviewing your web codebase.
Then we write it natively. A native module in Swift and Kotlin can wrap any platform API or vendor SDK and expose it to the TypeScript side with full typing. This is routine work for payment terminals, Bluetooth devices, custom camera pipelines and identity verification SDKs. We identify these needs during scoping so the effort is in the proposal instead of appearing halfway through the build.
Yes. Many React Native apps fall several versions behind, which blocks store requirements and new libraries. We audit the codebase, dependencies and native projects, then upgrade in controlled steps with the app releasable after each one. Where it helps, we move the project onto Expo and the New Architecture, add TypeScript strictness and tests around the riskiest flows, and document what we changed and why.
