01Our Approach

We rank every finding by the effort to fix it and the journeys it blocks, so your team knows what to change first.

02Overview

Find where users struggle and what to fix

  • 01Usability findings
  • 02Prioritized fixes
  • 03Redesigned key screens

A UX audit is a structured review of how people use a website or application and where the design gets in their way. We study analytics and session recordings, walk through the main journeys against established usability principles, test with users where time allows and check accessibility. You receive evidence, clear priorities and concrete redesigns for the most important screens.

It is the sensible first step when sign-ups, purchases or inquiries are lower than traffic suggests, when support receives the same questions repeatedly, or before investing in a redesign. An audit costs far less than rebuilding and often shows that a handful of changes will deliver most of the improvement. We keep recommendations practical for the team that must build them.

03What We Do

Capabilities, End to End

01
Analytics review

Funnels, drop-off points, search terms and device data are examined to locate the steps where visitors abandon a journey or behave unexpectedly.

02
Expert evaluation

Designers walk every key journey against usability heuristics and interface conventions, recording each issue with a screenshot, severity and explanation.

03
Session and heatmap study

Recordings and heatmaps from tools such as Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity show hesitation, repeated clicks and ignored elements that numbers alone do not reveal.

04
User testing

Participants who resemble your customers attempt real tasks while thinking aloud, and we note where they hesitate, misread or give up.

05
Accessibility check

Pages are assessed against WCAG criteria for contrast, keyboard use, screen readers and forms, with the affected components identified for your developers.

06
Redesign recommendations

The highest priority problems are solved in annotated wireframes or Figma designs, so findings arrive with a tested direction, not only criticism.

01
Goals and access

We agree which journeys and outcomes matter most, receive access to analytics and recording tools, and install tracking where it is missing so behavior can be observed during the audit.

02
Evaluate and observe

Each journey is reviewed by designers, compared with data and recordings, and where possible attempted by test participants, with every issue logged in a consistent format.

03
Prioritize and design

Findings are scored by impact on the user and effort to resolve, and the most valuable ones are redesigned so your team can see the intended result.

04
Present and plan

We walk your team through the evidence and designs, answer questions from product and engineering, and leave a sequenced list that fits straight into your backlog.

08Who It Is For

Built for Teams Like Yours

FLAGSHIP
Visitors arrive and leave without doing what you hoped

Traffic is healthy and conversions are not. People start the sign-up, checkout or inquiry form and stop, and the team has competing theories about why. Before funding a redesign you want evidence of what is wrong and which changes would matter most.

Low sign-up or checkout completion
Preparing for a redesign
High volume of support questions
New product with weak adoption
Accessibility concerns or complaints
Inherited product without research

An audit diagnoses. It tells you what is wrong, how serious each problem is and what to do about it, with designs for the main fixes. A redesign rebuilds the interface. Many teams commission an audit first, apply the improvements that need little effort, and only then decide whether a larger redesign is justified.

Analytics access makes the audit much stronger, because we can see where real visitors struggle instead of inferring it. If tracking is thin, we add recording and event tools at the start. User testing with a few participants is valuable and optional. We can recruit people who match your audience or work with customers you introduce.

Yes. Every finding comes with a recommendation, and the most important ones come with a redesigned screen. Issues are grouped into changes your developers can make immediately, medium pieces of work and larger structural topics. We present the report to design and engineering together, so questions about feasibility are settled in the room.

Yes. The method is the same for websites, web applications, native apps and internal software, with adjustments for each. For apps we review platform conventions, gestures and onboarding. For internal tools we focus on task speed and error rates for trained users, observing staff at work where possible, because efficiency matters more there than first impressions.

We can, and there is no obligation. The report is written so any capable team can act on it. If you want us to continue, our designers complete the remaining screens and our engineers build the changes, measured against the same metrics the audit used. Otherwise your own team takes the backlog forward.
