Shopify POS Integration
We connect the tills in your shops with your Shopify store and back-office systems, so a sale at the counter and a sale online draw on the same stock and reach the same reports.
The shelf in the shop and the page on the site describe the same product, and they should never disagree about whether it is available.
Shop tills and online store, one stock
- 01Shared stock figure
- 02In-store sales synced
- 03Works through outages
Shopify POS integration covers two situations. If you sell in person with Shopify POS, we connect its sales, returns, locations and staff activity to your ERP, accounting or loyalty system. If your shops run a different till system, we connect that system to your Shopify store, so catalogue, prices and stock are shared and in-store sales reduce the quantity offered online.
It suits retailers who sell the same goods in shops and online, offer collection in store or want customers recognized in both. Physical retail adds problems a web store never meets. Tills lose their connection, items are sold before they are received and returns arrive at a different branch. We design for those cases first, because they decide whether staff trust the figures.

What It Looks Like When It Ships
From Kickoff to Launch
We follow real sales, returns, transfers, deliveries and stock counts through one busy branch, noting what the till records and what staff fix by hand afterwards.
Ownership of stock, prices and customers is agreed for each location, along with the treatment of offline sales, layaways, exchanges across branches and collection in store.
The integration runs in a single shop on live trade while its stock is reconciled daily against a physical count, until differences are explained and rules corrected.
Remaining branches are added in groups with a short staff briefing each, and the dashboard and alerts are handed to the person responsible for retail operations.

What buyers ask before they start
If yours is not here, ask us directly. The first conversation is free and useful whether or not we work together.
Book a callFor Shopify POS, a custom app on your store with scopes for orders, inventory and locations. Some point of sale features depend on your Shopify and POS subscription, which we verify against Shopify's current documentation. For a third-party till system, its API must be enabled on your contract, which some vendors charge for. We confirm both in writing with you and the vendor before estimating the work.
Yes, provided it exposes its data. Modern cloud tills offer an API. Older ones may only produce scheduled export files or allow a database to be read, which still works but makes stock updates slower. We look at what your system offers before promising anything, and we tell you plainly if replacing the till would cost less than integrating it.
The till keeps selling, and the integration expects that. When the connection returns, the delayed sales arrive in a batch. They are applied in the order they happened, stock is adjusted and any item sold both online and in the shop during the gap is flagged for staff. Online availability can hold a small buffer for branches with unreliable connections.
It can be, if stock discipline in the shop supports it. The integration keeps quantities current, but accuracy also depends on receipts being recorded promptly and counts being done. We measure the difference between system and shelf during the pilot. Many retailers offer collection only when more than one unit remains, a rule we can apply automatically for each product category.
Yes. A customer identified at the till can be matched to their online account, so purchases from both appear in one history and points accrue once. This needs an agreed way of identifying people in store, usually a phone number, email or loyalty card, and clear consent wording. We design the matching rules with you and keep a review list for uncertain cases.
