Product Discovery Workshops
Decide what to build, before you build it
We run structured discovery with your team to turn a product idea into a defined scope, a tested prototype and a delivery plan before any budget is spent on development.
Discovery exists to find the expensive misunderstandings while they are still sticky notes and not yet lines of code.
Decide what to build before you build
- 01Validated scope
- 02Clickable prototype
- 03Delivery roadmap
Product discovery is a short, intensive phase in which business goals, user needs and technical constraints are brought together into a plan everyone can support. Through workshops, interviews and prototyping we define who the product serves, which problems it solves first, how it will work and what it takes to build. The outputs are tangible and yours to keep.
It suits founders preparing to raise funds or brief developers, and companies planning an internal system or a new digital service. If requirements are already detailed and tested, you may not need it. Most projects that struggle later do so because scope was vague at the start, which is precisely what discovery is designed to prevent.

Worked Out on Screen, Before It Is Built
Four of the things you will see in the design file while the work is under way. Where a card says try it, the drawing responds to clicks.
Journey map
The complete path a user takes, step by step.
Scope tiers
Features sorted into first release, later and never.
Tested prototype
Core screens tried by users before any code exists.
Release plan
A sequence of releases with the effort each requires.
From Kickoff to Launch
We meet the people behind the idea, gather existing research and material, and agree on the questions discovery must answer and the decisions it has to support.
Workshops and interviews produce the user groups, their journeys and a long list of features, which we then cut down to the smallest version that would deliver real value.
Designers build the core flows as a prototype and put it in front of users, while engineers examine how it would be built and where the risks sit.
Everything learned is assembled into a scope, a roadmap and an estimate, presented to your team with the open questions and our recommendation for the first release.
Built for Teams Like Yours
What buyers ask before they start
If yours is not here, ask us directly. The first conversation is free and useful whether or not we work together.
Book a callBecause changing a prototype costs very little and changing finished software costs a great deal. Discovery tests the riskiest assumptions with users and engineers before they are built in. It also produces a scope precise enough to estimate reliably. Teams that skip it usually do the same thinking later, during development, at a much higher price.
A documented product vision, user journeys, a prioritized feature list, a clickable prototype tested with users, an outline of the architecture and integrations, and a roadmap with an estimate. Ownership and licensing terms are defined in the project agreement. The documents are written so that a development team can work from them, whether that is ours or another one.
The person who owns the decision, someone who knows the customers or users well, and anyone whose approval the project will need later. For internal systems that includes people who do the work today. We keep sessions focused and prepare in advance, so the time asked of senior people is concentrated and used well.
Possibly a lighter version. A written specification is a strong start, and it has rarely been tested with users or checked for technical feasibility. We can review it, prototype the uncertain parts, validate them and produce an estimate, skipping what you have already settled. If the document is truly ready, we will tell you and move straight to planning.
No. Discovery is a separate engagement with its own outputs, and they are written so that any competent team can work from them. Many customers do continue with us because the people who ran discovery already understand the product. That is a decision you make at the end, with the roadmap and estimate in hand.
