Google Workspace AI Integration
YOUR INBOXAND FILES,WITH AN ASSISTANT
We connect AI to the Google Workspace your company runs on, so an assistant can find answers in Drive, draft replies in Gmail and prepare documents, using narrow permissions and waiting for a person's approval.
Google Workspace AIWhat we build
An assistant that can read a company's mail and files must be given the least access the task needs, and nothing beyond it.
AI working inside Gmail, Drive and Calendar
- 01Drive answers found
- 02Gmail drafts prepared
- 03Access kept narrow
Google Workspace AI integration links a language model to Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Calendar through Google's APIs. Typical uses are an assistant that answers from shared drives with links to the files, drafts of replies to incoming mail for a person to send, summaries of long threads and documents prepared from a template. The assistant acts for a signed-in user and can reach only what that user can.
It suits companies that run on Google Workspace and want AI applied to a specific job. Google includes its own Gemini features in many Workspace plans, and those should be tried first. Custom integration is justified when the job needs your own rules, data from other systems or a different model. Google classes Gmail and Drive scopes as restricted, which shapes how an integration must be built and reviewed.

What It Looks Like When It Ships
From Kickoff to Launch
We agree one task, such as answering supplier questions from a shared mailbox, gather real examples with good answers, and check whether Gemini in Workspace already does it well enough.
The scopes, folders and mailboxes involved are listed, your Workspace administrator and security lead review them, and the app is configured for internal use in your own domain.
The integration is built against a test group, drafts and answers are scored by the people who do the work today, and wording and sources are adjusted until they pass.
A pilot team uses it with every output reviewed, logs are checked for anything unexpected, and access is widened only on evidence and with the administrator's agreement.

What buyers ask before they start
If yours is not here, ask us directly. The first conversation is free and useful whether or not we work together.
Book a callTry it first. Gemini is built into Gmail, Docs and Drive on many plans and handles summaries, drafting and search across your own files. A custom integration earns its cost when the task needs your business rules, information from systems outside Workspace, a fixed output format or a model you choose. We compare both for your case and say so when the built-in features are enough.
Google classes broad access to Gmail and Drive data as restricted scopes. Its documentation says apps requesting them must pass a verification process unless an exception applies, and lists internal use within one organization among the exceptions. Apps that handle restricted data through a third-party server face a recurring security assessment. We design for internal use in your own domain and for the narrowest scopes.
We do not build it that way to begin with. The assistant prepares a draft and a person reads, edits and sends it. Once drafts have proved reliable on a class of routine messages, automatic sending can be considered for that class only, with limits and logging. Anything that commits the company, or goes to a new recipient, stays with a person.
No, and it should not have it. Most uses involve one shared mailbox or the files in a few named drives. Google's documentation recommends avoiding domain-wide delegation where possible, since it lets a service account act as any user. We ask for access to the specific mailbox or folders the task concerns, and your administrator can see and revoke it in the admin console.
Content retrieved from Gmail or Drive is sent to the language model for the request. With Google's own models under your Workspace or Cloud agreement, it stays within Google's services. With a different provider, it is sent out under the terms of that provider. We document the flow, exclude folders that must not be sent and review it with your data protection lead beforehand.
