Salesforce Custom API Integration
TWO SYSTEMS,ONE CUSTOMERRECORD
We connect Salesforce to your own applications and to your ERP through its APIs, so accounts, orders and service records agree across systems without a person carrying them between screens.
Salesforce holds the relationship and other systems hold the transactions, and an integration earns its keep by making both visible in each place.
Salesforce joined to the rest of your systems
- 01Events, not polling
- 02Bulk loads handled
- 03Least-privilege access
Salesforce custom API integration connects your org to software that has no packaged connector, most often a product you built or an ERP with its own conventions. We use the REST and Composite APIs for individual records, Bulk API for large volumes and platform events or change data capture to learn what changed, with a service outside Salesforce that maps, queues and retries.
It suits organizations where opportunities are retyped as orders, where service agents cannot see deliveries or invoices, or where a customer-facing application must read and update Salesforce safely. Every org is customized. Validation rules, flows, triggers and sharing settings all react to the data an integration writes, so we test against a sandbox copy of your real configuration instead of assuming a standard one.

What It Looks Like When It Ships
From Kickoff to Launch
We review objects, automation, sharing and existing integrations in a sandbox, since a flow or trigger that fires on our writes can change the outcome completely.
Mapping, identifiers, ownership and the events that start each flow are documented and then agreed with your Salesforce administrator and the owners of the other system.
The service is built against a full or partial sandbox, then exercised with realistic volumes to confirm that automation, row locking and API allocation hold up.
Configuration moves to production through your normal change process. Flows are enabled one at a time, and each is watched for a period before the next begins.

What buyers ask before they start
If yours is not here, ask us directly. The first conversation is free and useful whether or not we work together.
Book a callAn edition that includes API access, a sandbox to build against and an administrator who can create an external client app and a permission set. Salesforce has restricted the creation of new connected apps and recommends external client apps instead, so new work uses those. Each org also has a daily API request allocation tied to its licences, which we check against your expected volumes.
Yes. When an opportunity closes, the integration checks that the account exists in the ERP with valid billing details, creates it if necessary and then creates the order from the opportunity's products. The ERP's order number, fulfilment status and invoices return to Salesforce. Products and price books are fed from the ERP beforehand, so that what was quoted can actually be ordered.
Usually outside for the moving of data and inside for reacting to it. Code within Salesforce runs under strict execution limits and is awkward for long jobs, retries and large volumes. A separate service handles those comfortably and keeps credentials for other systems out of the org. Inside Salesforce we add only light pieces, such as an event that announces a change.
Sometimes. If your organization already runs an integration platform, building on it keeps skills and monitoring in one place, and we can work that way. A packaged connector suits a standard ERP used in a standard way. Custom integration is the right tool for software you built, unusual objects, strict ownership rules or volumes that make per-task pricing uneconomic.
By testing against it. Every write from the integration can set off validation rules, flows and triggers, so we develop in a sandbox that mirrors production and run the full set of scenarios there. Where a rule should not apply to integration traffic, the administrator decides and documents the exception. After launch, blocked records appear in the queue with the exact message, not in silence.
