Odoo Ecommerce Integration
YOUR STORE,RUN FROMYOUR ERP
We connect Odoo to your online store, whether Shopify, WooCommerce or a custom storefront, so products, stock, orders, deliveries and invoices stay in step without exports.
Odoo Ecommerce IntegrationWhat we build
Odoo already knows what you hold, what it costs and where it sits, so your store should ask Odoo instead of keeping its own version.
Your online store running on Odoo data
- 01Odoo as master
- 02Orders into Odoo
- 03Stock by warehouse
Odoo ecommerce integration makes Odoo the source of products, prices and stock for a store hosted elsewhere, and returns that store's orders to Odoo as sales orders ready for delivery and invoicing. We connect through Odoo's external API on one side and the store's API on the other, most often Shopify or WooCommerce, with a service that maps, queues and retries between them.
It suits companies that run inventory, purchasing and accounting in Odoo but sell through a storefront chosen for its design, apps or checkout. Odoo models products as templates with variants, tracks stock by warehouse and location and applies its own taxes and fiscal positions. Fitting a store's simpler model to that structure is the real work, and it is decided before any code is written.

What It Looks Like When It Ships
From Kickoff to Launch
We look at version, hosting, installed modules and customizations, and at how products, warehouses, pricelists and fiscal positions are configured, because integrations depend on all of them.
Mapping between Odoo's structure and the store's is agreed with your team, including which warehouses feed online stock and how bundles, kits and backorders should behave.
The service is built against a duplicate Odoo database and a development store, and then exercised with orders that include discounts, partial deliveries, returns and refunds.
Products are published from Odoo, live orders begin to flow and both systems are reconciled daily at first. The dashboard and runbook then pass to your team.

What buyers ask before they start
If yours is not here, ask us directly. The first conversation is free and useful whether or not we work together.
Book a callAccess to Odoo's external API, which on Odoo Online is documented as available only on the Custom pricing plan. Databases on Odoo.sh or your own servers are not restricted in that way. From version 19, Odoo is replacing its older XML-RPC and JSON-RPC endpoints with a newer JSON-2 API, so we build for the version you run and check Odoo's current documentation before starting.
Yes, it is the most frequent request. Odoo publishes products, prices and stock to Shopify, with each warehouse mapped to a Shopify location. Shopify orders arrive in Odoo as sales orders with their taxes, discounts and shipping, and delivery confirmation returns to Shopify with tracking. Refunds and returns are mapped as well. Payouts can be passed to Odoo accounting for reconciliation if you want that included.
It is worth considering. Odoo includes a website and ecommerce application that shares the database, so no integration is needed at all. That is the simplest architecture and suits straightforward catalogues. Companies choose an external store when they need its themes, checkout, apps or marketplace reach. We will tell you if your requirements would be met more cheaply inside Odoo.
Many are, for standard setups. Connector modules exist for the common platforms and are quick to install. They run inside Odoo, which matters on Odoo Online where custom modules cannot be installed, and they can conflict with customizations or lag behind new versions. We review the candidates for your case honestly, and recommend custom work only where they fall short.
A separate service that talks to Odoo through its documented API is less exposed to upgrades than code installed inside the database. Before each upgrade we run the integration's test scenarios against the upgraded test copy that Odoo's process produces. Changes to models or endpoints between versions are handled there, so production orders are not the first to discover a difference.
