Software Maintenance and Support
SOFTWAREKEPT HEALTHYAFTER LAUNCH
We look after software that is already in production, handling monitoring, fixes, security updates and steady improvements, including applications that another team originally built for you.
Good maintenance is mostly invisible, measured by the incidents that never happen and the updates that pass without anyone noticing.
Your software kept healthy after launch
- 01Monitoring and alerts
- 02Security updates
- 03Planned improvements
Maintenance and support keeps a live application secure, available and current. We monitor the system, respond to incidents, fix defects, apply security patches, upgrade frameworks and dependencies, and deliver small enhancements from an agreed backlog. A named team learns your product and works to response times set out in the agreement, with a regular report on what was done.
It suits companies whose original developers have moved on, internal teams that want to focus on new work, and products that must stay dependable without a full-time engineering department. We start every engagement with an onboarding review, because we will not promise to support a system we have not read. Coverage is sized to how critical the software is.

What It Looks Like When It Ships
From Kickoff to Launch
We read the code, run it locally, review infrastructure, backups and access, and report on its condition and risks before agreeing the level of support that makes sense.
Monitoring, alerts, a ticket channel and deployment pipelines are configured, response targets are agreed and any urgent weaknesses found in the onboarding review are corrected first.
Requests and incidents are handled as they arrive, while patches, upgrades and backlog items are delivered in a steady, scheduled rhythm that you can plan around.
A periodic review covers incidents, changes made, system health and upcoming risks, and we adjust priorities and coverage with you as the product and business evolve.
Built for Teams Like Yours
What buyers ask before they start
If yours is not here, ask us directly. The first conversation is free and useful whether or not we work together.
Book a callYes, that is a large part of this service. We begin with an onboarding review in which we read the code, deploy it ourselves and document how it works. That tells us its condition and lets us quote support honestly. If we find serious risks, such as missing backups or exposed credentials, we raise them immediately and fix them first.
Typically monitoring, incident response within agreed targets, bug fixes, security and dependency updates, backups and a regular report, plus an allowance for small improvements. The exact coverage, hours of availability and response targets are set for your situation and written into the agreement. Larger new features are scoped and planned separately so the support capacity is protected.
Response targets depend on the severity of the problem and the level of cover you choose, and they are stated in the agreement. A production outage is treated differently from a cosmetic bug. Automated monitoring often alerts us before users notice. During an incident you receive updates in plain language until service is restored.
Both. Pure maintenance keeps software running while it slowly falls behind what users expect. We reserve part of each period for improvements you prioritize, such as a smoother form, a faster report or a small new feature. You see the backlog, choose what comes next and receive the changes through the same tested release process.
You can, with the notice period stated in the agreement. Everything stays in your accounts throughout, including repositories, cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools. On leaving we hand over current documentation, runbooks and any work in progress, and brief your new team. The service is designed so that you are never dependent on us.
