AI SDR and Sales Outreach Agent
First messages, drafted for review
An agent that prepares outreach instead of blasting it.
An agent that prepares outreach instead of blasting it. It researches an account from sources you approved, checks it against your criteria, drafts a first message for a person to review, and sorts the replies. Nothing leaves without a named approval.
Outbound work is mostly preparation. Someone reads about the company, decides whether it fits, finds the right person, writes something specific and logs it. Done well it takes an hour per account. Done fast it becomes a template with a first name in it, sent to people who never asked and addresses nobody can account for.
What exists today is a working demonstration on test data, which we can walk you through. It shows one account researched with sourced facts, contacts skipped for provenance and preference, a draft a reviewer edits and approves, and replies sorted into interested, not interested and opted out. Sending is switched off. Connecting it to your own systems is the project.
What Goes Wrong Without It
Research nobody can trace
A claim about the prospect appears in a message and no one knows where it came from.
Lists of unknown origin
Contact details bought or scraped, with no record of where they came from or when.
Opt-outs that do not stick
Someone asks to be removed and receives the next message in the sequence anyway.
The same person contacted twice
Two reps, or two lists, reach one person with two different pitches.
Claims added under pressure
A figure or a client name slips into a draft because it sounds convincing.
Activity counted as outcome
Messages sent are reported as pipeline, and replies as meetings.
From the First Signal to the Record
An example of one case, in 6 steps. The same steps play in the picture at the top of this page.
Account chosen
A reviewer names a company. The agent reads your approved sources and returns the facts with their links.
Fit decided
Your criteria are applied. An account outside them is reported with the reason, and nothing is drafted.
Contacts screened
Each contact is checked for where the details came from, for opt-outs and for duplicates.
Draft written
A message is drafted from your template with one sourced fact, and waits for a person.
Reviewed and approved
The reviewer edits it. An unsupported claim blocks approval until it is removed.
Reply sorted
A reply is classified, the CRM is updated, and a follow-up is drafted only where one makes sense.
What We Need to Scope This
- The process as it runs today, in a few lines.
- The systems it touches, for example research, CRM, sending, preferences.
- Rough monthly volume, and who approves what.
Six jobs it carries through
Account research
Builds a short brief from sources you approved.
- Reads only the sources on your list
- Keeps each fact with its link and date
- Drops anything from another source
- Says when it found nothing usable
Fit check
Applies your criteria before anyone is contacted.
- Uses rules you can read and edit
- Marks missing data as unknown
- Gives the reason for each result
- Stops at accounts outside the criteria
Contact screening
Decides who may be contacted at all.
- Checks where each contact's details came from
- Honours do-not-contact marks
- Applies your suppression list
- Removes duplicate addresses
Draft for review
Writes a first message for a person to edit.
- Uses your template and one cited fact
- Flags figures and client claims it cannot source
- Returns to review after any edit
- Needs a named approval
Reply handling
Sorts replies and prepares the next step.
- Recognises interest, refusal and opt-out
- Remembers an opt-out and cancels open drafts
- Drafts a follow-up for a person
- Passes questions to your team
CRM upkeep
Keeps one record per contact with what happened.
- Creates or updates, never duplicates
- Records the source and date of the details
- Records the reply in the contact's words
- Reports drafts, approvals and replies as such
Sending Is a Separate Permission
Preparing a message and sending it are two different things here. The agent researches, screens and drafts. A message leaves only through a sending connection that you switch on, only after a named person approved that exact text, and never to someone who opted out.
Whether you may contact a given person in a given country is a legal question for your business. The agent enforces the rules you set. It does not decide them.
- Facts with a source and a date
- Contacts with a recorded origin
- Opt-outs honoured and remembered
- Named approval for every draft
- Sending off until you permit it
- Replies counted as replies
The Systems Around It
The systems named here are the kind this agent works with. Which ones it connects to in your case is settled in the scope.
Research
- Sources you approve, such as company websites and newsrooms
- licensed data providers
CRM
- HubSpot
- Salesforce
- Pipedrive
- or a custom CRM
Sending
- Your email or sequencing platform, connected only when you permit it
Preferences
- Suppression lists
- unsubscribe records
- do-not-contact marks
Templates
- Your approved messages and the claims you allow
Review
- The people who may edit and approve drafts
Straight Answers
No. In what we demonstrate, sending is switched off and the only sender records the message without sending it. In a project, sending is a separate connection that you enable, with a daily limit, and it only ever sends drafts a named person approved.
Lead qualification handles people who came to you. This agent prepares contact with people who did not. That changes what matters: where the contact details came from, whether the person may be contacted, and who approved the wording.
From sources you approve, such as a company's own website, its newsroom or a data provider you hold a licence for. Contacts from a source that is not on your list are skipped, and every fact in a draft keeps its link and the date it was read.
A working demonstration on test data. It shows one account researched with sourced facts, contacts skipped for provenance and preference, a draft a reviewer edits and approves, and replies sorted into interested, not interested and opted out. Sending is switched off. It is not connected to live systems, so the project is the integration with your own systems, your rules and a controlled pilot.
Bring One Account You Would Research by Hand
We will run it through the demonstration with you and compare the brief and the draft with what your team would have written.
